Additional 3500 Berths To Be Generated By Running Of Malda Town – Digha – Malda Town Special

Vide a press release dated 26/12/2024, the Eastern Railways have brought it to the notice of the tourists, planning to junket in the pristine beaches of Digha, that:

Additional 3500 berths will be augmented by operating special services of Malda Town – Digha – Malda Town to clear the extra rush of passengers. The Malda Town – Digha Special is a boon for travelers who want to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the serene beauty of Digha’s beaches during winter season.  Recognising the significant demand for travel during this winter season, Eastern Railway aims to provide convenient and comfortable transportation options for passengers.  The increased demand for travel during this season often leads to challenges in securing train tickets. Eastern Railway has decided to operate 03465 / 03466 Malda Town – Digha – Malda Town Special during this winter season.

03465 Malda Town – Digha Special will leave Malda Town at 13:10 hours on every Saturday between 28.12.2024 & 25.01.2025 (05 trips) to reach Digha at 02:00 hours the next day. The train will stop at Rampurhat, Sainthia, Andal, Asansol, Adra, Bankura, Bishnupur, Midnapore, Kharagpur, Panskura, Tamluk and Kanthi stations enroute.

03466 Digha – Malda Town Special will leave Digha at 05:00 hours on every Sunday between 29.12.2024 & 26.01.2025 (05 trips) to reach Malda Town at 18:30 hours the same day. The train will stop at Kanthi, Tamluk, Panskura, Kharagpur, Midnapore, Bishnupur, Bankura, Adra, Asansol, Andal, Sainthia, Rampurhat enroute.
