120 bags of paddy seized in Korea district

In order to strictly stop illegal paddy transportation, storage and Kochiagiri in Korea district, the district administration is continuously conducting investigation campaigns. Recently, a total of 120 bags of paddy were seized in Korea district in the case of illegal transportation of paddy and consumption of Kochia paddy in the society.

The team led by Patna Tehsildar Shri Prateek Jaiswal caught vehicle number CG 15-CY 2211 carrying 70 bags of paddy while it was being transported illegally from Aman Agro Rice Mill in Dumaria village to Surajpur. The vehicle and the driver have been handed over to the police station. Similarly, 52 bags of paddy were seized from farmer Jokhan at Sonhat paddy procurement centre. Farmer Kochia Shyam Lal Yadav had brought 50 bags of paddy and two bags of old paddy to sell at the support price at the procurement centre.
