Mudmisni farmer Jahan Singh’s happiness is filled with paddy sack
Farmer Jahan Singh had many such memories about sowing crops, most of which brought tears to his eyes. Every year, he used to sow crops in the hilly areas with the hope of good rains, but many times the indifference of rains strangled his hopes. Not only this, many times it happened that the rains came on time and the crop was also harvested, but he had to remain sad due to not getting the right price for his hard work. Ever since farmer Jahan Singh came to know that Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is giving a good price for the crop of the farmers, he has left no stone unturned in his hard work. He worked hard and sowed paddy in the field. Meanwhile, he only prayed to God that the rain should be good on time so that his crop does not get ruined and he too can sell his paddy at the highest price like other farmers. It was the kindness of the weather on farmer Jahan Singh that the crop was completed and now he is happy that soon he will be able to raise money by selling paddy in the procurement center.
Farmer Jahan Singh, who lives in village Mudmisani of Merai Gram Panchayat, a remote area under Podi Uparoda, has registered himself to sell paddy. Farmer Jahan Singh, who has taken the token, said that there is no special means of irrigation in his area. He has to completely depend on the sky for the crop. Meanwhile, if it does not rain after sowing the crop, then all the hard work is wasted. Farmer Jahan Singh Markam said that every year he grows crops with fear. He gets disappointed when the crop is very less and the price is low, but due to no other option, he has to depend on the paddy crop. The farmer said that it is a matter of happiness that Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has taken a big step in the interest of us farmers. We will get the price of paddy at the rate of 31 hundred rupees per quintal. He told that he has taken tokens to sell about 70 quintals of paddy. He will sell his paddy on January 10 and will buy some essential items for the house when the money comes.
