Jaipur – On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, Parliamentary Affairs, Law, and Legal Affairs Minister Shri Jogaram Patel offered prayers at Mandalnath Mahadev Temple in Jodhpur, seeking prosperity and well-being for the state. He extended greetings to all citizens and prayed to Lord Mahadev for their happiness, prosperity, and good health.
Vision for Rajasthan’s Economic Growth
Shri Patel emphasized that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, Rajasthan has presented a historic budget aimed at holistic and inclusive development. He stated that by 2030, the state’s economy is projected to reach $350 billion. To strengthen the road infrastructure, over ₹5,000 crore will be invested in the upcoming year, ensuring better connectivity and ease of travel for the public.
Inauguration of a New Tube Well at Temple Premises
During his visit, the minister formally inaugurated a newly constructed tube well in the temple premises. He highlighted that this new water source will ensure a clean and reliable drinking water supply for both devotees and local residents, addressing long-term water demands.
Providing Drinking Water to Every Household – A Top Priority
Shri Patel reaffirmed that ensuring drinking water access to every household remains a top priority for the state government. He announced that in the upcoming year, 2 million homes will receive new drinking water connections. Additionally, ₹425 crore has been allocated in the budget for various rural water supply projects.
He further stated that, as per the budget announcement, the Chief Minister’s Jal Jeevan Mission (Urban) will see the implementation of phased projects worth over ₹5,830 crore, strengthening urban water supply infrastructure across Rajasthan.
