Prime Minister’s Visit to Bikaner on May 22 (Today)— Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma Reaches Bikaner, Reviews Program Preparations
Jaipur : Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Bikaner on Thursday, May 22, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma arrived in Bikaner on Wednesday to review the preparations for the event.
Speaking to the media, Chief Minister Sharma said it is a matter of great joy and pride that the inauguration of redeveloped railway stations and various national projects by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is taking place from Deshnok, a border region in Rajasthan’s Bikaner district. He noted that following Operation Sindoor, there is widespread enthusiasm across the country, including in border districts. He added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the double-engine government is fulfilling the people’s expectations, and the historic transformation happening in the country is a result of the Prime Minister’s visionary leadership.
Before interacting with the media, the Chief Minister visited the event sites to thoroughly assess the preparations. At the public gathering venue in Palana, he inspected the arrangements, reviewed the entry and exit routes for public convenience, and held a meeting with officials to ensure proper arrangements for drinking water, parking, and other facilities. He also reviewed the preparations for the inauguration of the redeveloped Deshnok railway station under the Amrit Station Scheme and the flag-off of a new train.
Later, the Chief Minister offered prayers at the Karni Mata Temple in Deshnok for the prosperity and well-being of the state and inspected the arrangements within the temple premises as well.
A Touch of Simplicity — Sugarcane Juice by the Roadside
In a humble gesture, Chief Minister Sharma stopped at a roadside vendor on Nokha Road and had a glass of sugarcane juice. Locals were impressed by his simple demeanor as he drank the juice like any ordinary citizen. He paid vendor Manak Chand Joshi using UPI.
The Chief Minister also interacted warmly with female sanitation workers working near the Deshnok station and even took photos with them upon request.

Chaudhary, MP Madan Rathore, MLAs Siddhi Kumari, Jethanand Vyas, Tarachand, Kuldeep, Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, and other public representatives and officials.
