Ministers Visit Injured in Diva-Mumbra Train Accident; Immediate Medical Aid OrderedCM and Deputy CMs Pay Tribute to the Deceased

Thane – Following the tragic train accident that occurred between Diva and Mumbra railway stations, Maharashtra’s Minister for Water Resources (Tapi, Vidarbha, and Konkan) and Disaster Management, Girish Mahajan, along with MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, Dr. Naresh Mhaske, MLAs Ravindra Chavan, Niranjan Davkhare, and Rajesh More visited the injured at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital and Thane District General Hospital to inquire about their condition.

During their visit, the minister directed the hospitals in Thane and Kalwa to provide immediate and comprehensive medical treatment to all those injured. He also assured the victims and their families that the government stands firmly with them in this difficult time and will extend all necessary support.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister and Thane Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde, and Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar expressed deep condolences for the victims of this heart-wrenching tragedy. They conveyed their solidarity with the grieving families and extended their sympathies.

Thane District Collector Ashok Shingare stated that the district administration is closely monitoring the entire situation. He added that all necessary measures are being taken to aid the injured and carry out rescue operations. An inquiry is currently underway to determine the cause of the accident, and the government has assured that preventive measures will be implemented to avoid such incidents in the future.
