Discussion Held on Coal Mining, Production, and Welfare Initiatives in Chhattisgarh
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met with Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Shri Satish Chandra Dubey, today at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur during a courtesy visit. The meeting focused on various issues related to coal mining and production in Chhattisgarh.
During the discussions, both leaders reviewed the progress of coal production and mining activities, along with facilities provided to workers and ongoing developmental initiatives in the sector. Chief Minister Sai emphasized that cooperation from the Central Government would play a key role in unlocking the full potential of the coal and energy sector in the state.
CM Sai also specifically discussed the effective utilization of funds from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for public welfare-oriented projects in mining-affected regions, stressing the importance of directing these resources toward maximum community benefit.
Present at the meeting were Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri P. Dayanand, SECL Chief General Manager Shri Harish Duhan, and other senior officials.
