CM Yogi mobilizes rapid response team for Gonda accident victims, 40-member medical team deployed to the accident site.

Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s prompt response to the Gonda train accident saw a 40-member medical team reach the site immediately to oversee the transfer of the injured to hospitals. Soon after, more doctors and medical personnel arrived. Fifteen ambulances swiftly transported the injured to medical facilities.

The accident, which involved the derailment of eight coaches of the Dibrugarh Express, resulted in one fatality and left 35 people injured. Among the injured, two individuals were in critical condition and referred to Lucknow for advanced medical care.

CM Yogi instructed the officials to immediately reach the spot, expedite the relief work and provide proper treatment to the injured. He asked the district administration officials to provide all possible assistance. On the instructions of the CM, all the hospitals, CHCs, PHCs of the nearby districts were put on alert mode and the SDRF team reached the spot and started relief work rapidly.

The Chief Minister expressed his sorrow over the Gonda train accident on his official ‘X’ handle. Describing the accident as ‘very tragic’, he instructed District Officials to carry out relief and rescue operations at full speed, prioritizing the injured and ensuring they receive proper medical treatment. He also prayed to Lord Shri Ram for the quick recovery of the injured.

*35 passengers Injured, two referred to Lucknow*

The accident resulted death of one passenger while 35 others were injured. Out of the injured, 30 sustained minor injuries while five were seriously hurt. Twenty-five of the injured were referred to Mankapur CHC, and five to Kaji Devar CHC. Three seriously injured individuals were taken to Gonda District Hospital, and two others were referred to Lucknow. Following CM Yogi’s instructions, all are receiving medical treatment.
