UP’s Irrigation and Water Resources Department will be equipped with online monitoring management system.
Lucknow : In a bid to promote transparency in government operations, strengthen the dispute resolution process, and continuously monitor the progress of ongoing projects, the Yogi government has initiated the integration of an online web portal-based software monitoring management system in the Irrigation and Water Resources Department.
As part of this initiative, UP Electronics Corporation Limited (UPLC) has initiated the process of selecting a software development agency through e-tendering. Only the software development agencies previously empanelled by UPLC will be able to participate in this selection process, and they will be assigned work under the Service Provider Category (B and C).
A detailed action plan has been prepared for the development of an online monitoring management-enabled software system in the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation and Water Resources Department. According to this plan, the agency selected for this process will be required to develop software that is not only web portal-based but also equipped with various features such as data customization, progress data feeding, tracking, and monitoring. The system will include a hierarchical login process, allowing different levels of login based on roles and designations.
Additionally, it will facilitate various data-related tasks according to the user’s role and title, and serve as a means to generate progress reports and other types of reports.
The web-based portal will be developed under the Spring Security 6 protocol. It will be enabled for Windows 10 and Windows 11 and will use the MVC Spring Boot framework. Additionally, it will operate according to the REST API Spring Boot, Java, and HTML-enabled Azure VM server specifications. The portal will be equipped with user interaction handling capabilities, security configuration, custom authentication, and security filters. It will also integrate the dispute resolution and monitoring processes at various levels.
