Coordinate with Various Departments for Permissions for Maritime Board Projects – Fisheries and Ports Minister Nitesh Rane

Mumbai, Sept 2025 : Fisheries and Ports Minister Nitesh Rane has directed that coordination be established with all concerned departments, including Environment and Forest, to obtain the necessary clearances for various projects of the Maharashtra Maritime Board.

Minister Rane reviewed several issues related to the Maharashtra Maritime Board in a meeting held at Mantralaya.

He emphasized that action should be taken on priority to finalize the rent for stalls on Maritime Board premises. He also instructed that work on installing hoardings should be expedited, with all planned hoardings to be erected by November. Furthermore, he stressed that effective coordination should be maintained with the Environment Department for securing all required permissions for these projects.
