“Give Jobs – Give Social Justice” Yatra Sees Huge Public Turnout on Day 3; Youth Express Anger at Government

Massive crowd joins the march from Bikapur to Koorebhar; Youth and lawyers participate in large numbers

Lucknow/Ayodhya, Nov 2025 : On the third consecutive day, the Aam Aadmi Party’s “Give Jobs – Give Social Justice” foot march received massive public support in Uttar Pradesh. Led by AAP UP in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, the march began from Bikapur in Ayodhya, passed through Khajurahat, and reached Koorebhar in Sultanpur. Hundreds of people welcomed the padyatra enthusiastically.

Throughout the route, youth, lawyers, women, and elderly citizens gave a warm reception to the march. People showered flowers and raised slogans of “Give Jobs – Give Social Justice” as they joined the yatra. Under the leadership of Sanjay Singh, the padyatra is gradually turning into a mass movement. This 13-day, nearly 200-kilometre yatra will travel from Ayodhya to Sultanpur, Amethi, and finally to Prayagraj.

Sanjay Singh: The aim is to provide employment and end discrimination

Sanjay Singh said the march has been launched to demand justice for Dalits, OBCs, the exploited and oppressed, and to secure jobs for youth. He said caste-based discrimination, inequality, and corruption in UP have made the lives of the poor and youth extremely difficult.

“Ram Rajya will come only when every person gets equal opportunity and every hand gets work. Without employment and justice, society cannot progress,” he said.

Sharp attack on unemployment: Paper leaks and corruption pushing youth into darkness

MP Sanjay Singh said the youth of UP are suffering due to widespread unemployment. Recruitment exams repeatedly witness paper leaks and major irregularities in the selection process. “The government only makes promises but shows no intention of providing employment,” he said.

He highlighted the gap between sanctioned posts and vacancies across departments:

  • In the Education Department, over 5 lakh posts are sanctioned, but more than 2 lakh remain vacant.
  • In the Health and Medical Department, around 50,000 of 1.5 lakh sanctioned posts are vacant.
  • In the Police and Security Departments, over 1 lakh posts remain unfilled out of nearly 4 lakh sanctioned positions.

“That is why the Aam Aadmi Party has taken to the streets to fight for the youth,” he said.

Government suppressing Dalits and OBCs: Sanjay Singh

Sanjay Singh said incidents of discrimination and violence against Dalits and OBCs are reported every day in UP. Manipulation in reservation and biased behaviour by police stations have become common. “Democracy cannot be strengthened unless the last person in society gets justice,” he said. “AAP’s objective is to ensure equal opportunity and dignity for every poor person, every Dalit, every youth. That is true development.”

Sanjay Singh: The struggle of UP’s youth has reached a decisive stage

He said the youth of UP will no longer remain silent. “This padyatra marks the beginning of the fight for jobs and dignity. People are standing with AAP because they know it is the true voice of the public.”

Punjab victory has boosted AAP workers’ morale

Speaking on AAP’s impressive victory in the Tarn Taran bypoll in Punjab, Sanjay Singh said it reflects the success of Arvind Kejriwal’s honest politics and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s welfare policies. “The Tarn Taran victory proves that people now want development, education, and employment — this is the path shown by AAP.”

He said the UP padyatra carries forward the same idea: “The people’s struggle will be fought together with the people.”

Throughout the journey, AAP’s outgoing state president Sabha Jeet Singh and Panchayat Cell vice-president Manoj Mishra, along with local citizens, organised warm welcome programmes for MP Sanjay Singh at different locations.
