CM Vishnu Deo Sai to Announce Development Projects Worth ₹194 Crore for Balodabazar

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will dedicate development projects worth over ₹194 crore to Balodabazar district. This includes the inauguration of works worth ₹41 crore and the foundation-laying (bhoomipujan) of projects worth ₹152 crore.

A total of 16,013 beneficiaries will receive materials and cheques amounting to more than ₹5 crore.

On this occasion, CM Sai will present development projects valued at ₹194.79 crore to the people of the district. This includes the inauguration of 94 projects worth ₹41.91 crore and the bhoomipujan of 80 projects worth ₹152.87 crore.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao will preside over the event. District-in-charge and Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, along with Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma, will be the guests of honor. Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal, Janjgir-Champa MP Kamlesh Jangde, former Assembly Speaker Gaurishankar Agrawal, and other local public representatives will also attend as special guests.

Distribution to Beneficiaries

During the programme, materials and cheques worth more than ₹5 crore will be distributed to 16,013 beneficiaries. Key distributions include:

• 1,073 beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin will receive house keys.
• 5,000 farmers will receive property documents under the PM Swamitva Scheme.
• ₹27 lakh in cheques will be distributed to victims of cyber fraud as returned amounts.
• ₹83 lakh in cheques will be distributed to beneficiaries of various Labour Department schemes.
• The Tribal Development Department will distribute ₹4.25 crore in post-matric scholarships to 8,333 students.
• Under the Chhattisgarh Mahila Kosh and SAKSHAM scheme, 16 beneficiaries will receive cheques totaling ₹25 lakh.
• Under the Chief Minister Employment Generation Programme through Khadi and Village Industries, 10 beneficiaries will receive ₹9.69 lakh.
• Under the “Hum Honge Kamyab” scheme, 60 beneficiaries will receive cheques totaling ₹6.81 lakh.

• Construction of 1,073 houses worth ₹12.87 crore under PM Awas Yojana – Gramin.
• Single tap water supply scheme in Amakoni worth ₹1.74 crore.

• Single tap water supply scheme in Semhardih worth ₹1.44 crore.

• Strengthening of the Balodabazar–Risda–Hathband road worth ₹49.17 crore.
• Construction of Risda bypass road in Balodabazar worth ₹20.98 crore.
