Being held on December 29 and 30, the event aims to find effective technology-driven solutions to contemporary challenges faced by intelligence and law enforcement agencies.

CDTI Director Dr. Amandeep Singh Kapoor said that the hackathon has brought together cyber experts, developers, and innovative students from across the country on a single platform. The event focuses on critical areas such as digital forensics, cybercrime prevention, artificial intelligence, and surveillance intelligence. Its objective is to develop advanced systems that can make India’s internal security and policing capabilities stronger and globally competitive.

The inaugural session was attended by Deputy Director of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), New Delhi, Prashun Gupta, as the chief guest. In his address, he highlighted the growing importance of data analytics and artificial intelligence in modern policing and law enforcement. He urged participants to design solutions that are not only technologically advanced but also practical for real-world implementation and ethically sound.
