New Delhi, September 2026 : BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Monday offered prayers to Lord Ganesha at the party headquarters in New Delhi on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
After the prayers, Nabin wished happiness, prosperity and well-being for the people of the country. He also prayed for India’s continued progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“I pray that the country continues to progress and achieve glory under the leadership of our Prime Minister, and that there is happiness, enthusiasm and celebration in the lives of every individual,” Nabin told reporters.
He also referred to the ongoing Rajasthan urban local body elections, where the BJP is leading in several municipal corporations. Nabin said the party was receiving encouraging results from the state and sought Lord Ganesha’s blessings for the BJP and the people of the country.
The BJP president said the festival was an occasion to pray for the nation’s prosperity and the happiness of its citizens.
Several BJP leaders and party members attended the prayers at the headquarters. Among those present was Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh.
Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated across the country with religious enthusiasm, with devotees offering prayers at temples and pandals and seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha for prosperity, peace and success.
