Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan here today while presiding over the fifteenth meeting of High Powered Committee of Himachal Pradesh Bulk Drug Park Infrastructure Limited (HPBDPIL), directed all concerned line departments to expedite the ongoing works related to the Bulk Drug Park and ensuring timely completion.
The Industries Minister said that the state government was committed to executing the Bulk Drug Park project in a time bound manner. He directed the concerned departments to accord top priority to all project related activities and ensure coordination for the speedy implementation of the park.
He further directed the officers to ensure that all tenders related to the Bulk Drug Park are implemented on the ground without delay. He stressed the need for effective monitoring of the progress of works and timely resolution of any issues that may hamper the execution of the project.
Industries Minister said that the Bulk Drug Park is an important initiative aimed at strengthening the pharmaceutical sector in the state and creating a favorable environment for investment in the Himachal Pradesh. He informed that discussions would soon be held with major pharmaceutical industries to explore investment opportunities in the park. He emphasized the importance of attracting leading pharmaceutical companies to the project to promote industrial development and generate employment opportunities in the state.
The Minister also reviewed various matters related to the implementation of the Bulk Drug Park and the progress of activities being undertaken by the concerned departments. He directed the officers to maintain regular coordination and take necessary measures to ensure that the project progresses smoothly in accordance with the approved timelines.
Principal Secretary Industries M. Sudha Devi, Special Secretary Finance Vijaywardhan, Managing Director Himachal Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation Bhupender Attri, Additional Director Industries Tilak Raj Sharma, representatives of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Government of India and officers of concerned departments were also present in the meeting.
