MyCURE App Launched to Transform Civic Services and Cleanliness Drive in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 2026 : The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has taken a major step toward digital and citizen-focused governance with the launch of MyCURE App, an upgraded and integrated mobile platform designed to streamline civic services and significantly speed up grievance redressal across the city.

The MyCURE App allows residents to register complaints related to sanitation, streetlights, roads, drainage, town planning, and other municipal services through a single digital interface. Citizens can also track the status of their complaints in real time, bringing greater transparency and accountability to civic administration. Officials described the initiative as a landmark move in strengthening digitised urban governance.

Replacing the earlier MyGHMC application, the MyCURE App consolidates all civic grievance services under one unified platform. According to GHMC officials, the new app has been designed with improved usability, enhanced monitoring tools, and real-time tracking features to ensure quicker resolution of public complaints. By eliminating the need for multiple applications or repeated visits to municipal offices, the platform offers residents a seamless, one-stop digital solution for accessing civic services.

The civic body said the app has been developed in line with broader urban governance reforms under the CURE framework, which focuses on responsive service delivery, digital efficiency, and citizen engagement. The platform integrates field-level operations with supervisory oversight, enabling better coordination between departments and reducing response times. Centralised dashboards also support data-driven decision-making and performance evaluation, helping officials monitor service delivery more effectively.

GHMC authorities have urged citizens to actively use the MyCURE App and participate in strengthening urban governance by promptly reporting civic issues. Officials believe increased public participation through digital platforms will help improve service quality while fostering trust between citizens and the municipal administration.

Alongside the launch of the app, the state government has intensified its focus on city cleanliness. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao directed officials to accord top priority to cleanliness across the GHMC, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation, and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation areas. Acting on the instructions of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the Chief Secretary reviewed sanitation measures at a meeting held at the State Secretariat.

During the review, officials made a detailed presentation outlining steps taken so far to improve city cleanliness. The Chief Secretary closely examined garbage collection policies, hygiene initiatives, and public health protection measures. He instructed officials to ensure that cleanliness-related data is regularly updated on digital dashboards for continuous monitoring and assessment.

GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan informed that nearly 4,500 clean autos are currently engaged in door-to-door garbage collection within GHMC limits. He added that around 18,557 sanitation workers are deployed across the city and that approximately 7,800 tonnes of garbage are collected daily.

With the launch of the MyCURE App and a renewed emphasis on cleanliness, GHMC aims to deliver faster services, enhance transparency, and create a cleaner, more responsive urban environment for Hyderabad’s residents.
