CM Reviews Development and Welfare Schemes in Bhojpur District During “Samriddhi Yatra”
Patna, March 2026: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today reviewed development and welfare schemes related to Bhojpur district during the Samriddhi Yatra. The review was conducted at the programme venue set up at the Krishi Utpadan Bazar Samiti in Ara.
During the visit, the Chief Minister obtained detailed information from officials about the implementation of various schemes announced under the yatra. In the review meeting, Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania gave a comprehensive presentation on schemes related to the Samriddhi Yatra, as well as the implementation of “Saat Nishchay-2” and “Saat Nishchay-3” programmes. He also briefed the Chief Minister on other development works being carried out in the district.
While addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that all schemes approved under the Samriddhi Yatra should be implemented swiftly. He emphasized that schemes under Saat Nishchay-2 should be executed effectively, and work on schemes under Saat Nishchay-3 should begin promptly. He instructed officials to ensure timely completion of all projects with full commitment and sensitivity.
He stated that the government is working in the interest of the people and has launched several schemes for public welfare. He urged officials to ensure that the benefits of these initiatives reach the people effectively.
The Chief Minister also said that the government has set a target to provide jobs and employment to one crore youth over the next five years. To promote industrial growth and self-employment, the state government is providing various facilities and special financial packages to entrepreneurs. These efforts are expected to significantly boost industrial development in Bihar.
He further noted that facilities for setting up industries are being expanded across all districts, with the aim of encouraging industrial growth, enhancing youth skills, and making them self-reliant. The government has also introduced a startup policy to enable young people to launch their own ventures.
The Chief Minister highlighted that the government is continuously working to place Bihar among the most developed states in the country through the implementation of Saat Nishchay-3. He said that improving the “Ease of Living” for citizens by reducing daily hardships remains a key priority.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, Bihar Legislative Council Chairman Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Water Resources Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Labour Resources Minister Sanjay Singh, senior officials of various departments, and other district authorities.
