The state government plans to encourage cattle rearing by offering subsidies to those who rear more than ten cows, with an assurance to purchase milk from them. Kanji houses will be closed, and the government will establish cow shelters. Additionally, a bonus will be provided for cow milk production. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced these initiatives while speaking at the Sri Krishna Parv event on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami in Amjhera, Dhar district today.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that, similar to the development of Mahakal Lok in Ujjain, Amjhera will also be transformed into a pilgrimage site. The government intends to develop all locations associated with the visits of Lord Sri Krishna and Lord Sri Ram as sacred pilgrimage destinations. Highlighting the significance of these sites, Dr. Yadav noted that Lord Sri Krishna, who pursued his education at Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain, received the Sudarshan Chakra from Lord Parshuram in Janapav, led a divine and exemplary life. The state government is committed to undertaking special projects for the development of these historically important areas.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government has decided that every festival will be organized in the state with great enthusiasm. Every section of society should celebrate festivals joyously. He said that Amjhera is the land of valour and bravery. The battle fought here by Rana Bakhtawar Singh against the British is unique. As many as 28 people have made us proud by laying down their lives in this land. We must remember Lord Sri Krishna whose entire life is sacred and exemplary. Elaborating on the incident of Lord Sri Krishna being called a Makhanchor, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Sri Krishna’s mother had told him that the butter made by his people goes to the house of Kansa. So he would eat the butter and break the pot with his friends so that it could not be sent to the house of Kansa.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also took part in the Matki Phod event. Sant Kamal Kishore Nagar also addressed the program. Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development, Smt. Savitri Thakur demanded that sports complexes should be built in Sardarpur and Amjhera. Also, Amjhera should be connected to the Agricultural College here and the Indore Dahod Railway Line.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav showered his affection on the Bal Gopals and fed them with Makhan -Mishri. Dhar MLA Smt. Neena Verma, Sardarpur MLA Shri Pratap Grewal, District Panchayat President Shri Sardar Singh Meda, Shri Manoj Somani, former minister Shri Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon, Smt. Ranjana Baghel, former MP Shri Chhatarsingh Darbar, former MLA Shri Mukamsingh Kirade, Shri Jaideep Patel, Shri Kamal Yadav, other public representatives, officers and a large number of citizens were present.
