I&PR Secretary Pi Betsy Zothanpari Sailo Concludes In-House Training For Mis Officers
Aizawl : The two-day ‘In-House Training for MIS Officers,’ organized by the Directorate of Information & Public Relations Department (I&PR), concluded successfully today. The closing ceremony was held at 3:30 PM in the I&PR Conference Hall, Lianchhiari Rûn, Aizawl, where I&PR Secretary, Pi Betsy Zothanpari Sailo, presented certificates to the trainees.
During the closing event, I&PR Secretary Pi Betsy Zothanpari Sailo emphasized the importance of continual efforts to strengthen and rebrand the I&PR Department, and acknowledged that the in-house training was a significant initiative towards this goal. She encouraged the MIS Officers to diligently apply their skills and knowledge in their roles as government servants, and to continue serving the public with dedication. She also urged them to maintain a forward-thinking mindset and work harmoniously with their colleagues.
The Secretary further mentioned that the Department is currently undergoing reorganization and that necessary resources and tools for efficient work processes are being considered. She highlighted the need for the Office to function smoothly, with effective communication and adherence to government directives. Being the primary communicator of government information, she stressed the importance of accuracy and professionalism in the department’s work.
I&PR Director, Pu C. Lalnunkima, also spoke at the event, expressing satisfaction with the successful completion of the two-day training. He noted that the training covered a wide range of essential topics, thanks to various resource persons, the Course Coordinator, and the trainees’ active participation. He encouraged the participants to effectively apply what they learned in their daily tasks.
The event was chaired by Pu F. Lalfakzuala, Joint Director of the I&PR Department, with speeches from trainees Pu Lalchhuanawma Ralte, DIPRO Champhai, and Pu Lalzara, DIPRO Khawzawl. Pi Mina Zoliani, Deputy Director and Course Coordinator, expressed her gratitude, marking the official conclusion of the training.
The ‘In-House Training for MIS Officers’ was attended by MIS Officers from various districts as well as those from the Directorate of I&PR. Nine expert resource persons conducted sessions on 14 different topics, ranging from essential office tasks to specialized knowledge, ensuring that the training was both comprehensive and impactful.
