District Residents Benefit from Contact Centre; Two Brothers Reconciled, 8 Laborers Freed from Karnataka
Under the direction of Balodabazar Collector Deepak Soni, a contact center +91-92018-99925 has been set up in the joint district office under an innovative initiative for quick resolution of problems of the general public in the district. Which has now started yielding positive results. 97 applications related to various departments have been received through phone and Whatsapp through the Contact Center. Out of which 60 applications have been resolved immediately. Also, the remaining 37 applications are being registered and resolved within the time limit.
Apart from this, direct communication has been established with the public representatives of 37 villages by subject experts to know the problems of the villages and to provide information about the ambitious schemes of the state government. In which the villagers have also separately registered information about the problems. Today, through the Sampark Kendra, the amount of paddy bonus was divided between two brothers by mutual reconciliation. A mutual settlement was reached between two real brothers Ramprasad Verma and Tilakram Verma, residents of village Borsi under Bhatapara development block. Ramprasad Verma called the Sampark Kendra on August 20 and informed that the bonus amount of 2014-15 and 2015-16, which was released in December 2023 in the bank account of his brother Tilak Verma, was not being given after his death. By establishing coordination through the Sampark Kendra, the application was resolved by providing Rs 46 thousand from Tilakram Verma to younger brother Ramprasad Verma today.
Similarly, Balram Karsh, a resident of village Mohtara of Kasdol development block, informed about 8 people being held hostage in a brick kiln in Kolar district of Karnataka state. Taking immediate action through the contact center, they were safely sent back home on 28 August by establishing coordination with the labor department. Balram Karsh has expressed his gratitude to the district administration for this and also thanked the state government. He told that apart from me, Sharda, Aryan, Mohit, Jeetram, Santoshi, Vishal, Anirudh were also included.
Similarly, Domar Kurre, a resident of Lutudih village under Palari development block, filed an application at the Contact Centre on August 9 regarding not receiving compensation after the death of his brother Ashwani Kurre due to Covid, on which action was taken and an amount of Rs 50,000 was transferred to his account by the Tehsildar on August 14.
It is worth mentioning that under the innovative initiative, a contact number +91-92018-99925 has been established in the joint district office for the purpose of resolving the problems and demands of the general public in the district, providing information about schemes along with information about them. Through this, now the residents of the district will have the facility of resolving their demands, problems and suggestions along with information about schemes while sitting at home. In which any person of the district can register his complaint by calling +91-92018-99925. Not only complaints but information about departmental schemes will be provided by various departments in routine. For this, department-wise duty of officers and employees has also been assigned in routine.
