Chief Minister attended the oath taking ceremony of Bilaspur District Advocates Association
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai attended the oath taking ceremony of Bilaspur District Advocates Association today. He administered oath to the newly elected office bearers of the association. On the demand of the association, the Chief Minister announced to build a new community hall in the district court premises. The program was presided over by District Advocates Association President Shri Dauram Chandravanshi. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao was present as the special guest. On this occasion, Advocate General Shri Prafulla N Bharat, MLAs Shri Amar Agarwal, Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Shri Dilip Lahariya, Shri Atal Shrivastava, Shri Sushant Shukla, Mayor Shri Ramsharan Yadav, Principal District and Sessions Judge Mrs. Neeta Yadav, Patron Advocates Association Shri SK Sinha and representative Indian Bar Council Shri Shailendra Dubey were present as special guests.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai while congratulating the newly elected office bearers of the District Advocates Association said that the District Advocates Association of Bilaspur is the oldest organization of advocates in the state. At present, 3500 learned advocates are associated with this association. He said that this organization has historical importance. Its members actively participated in the freedom struggle. Not only this, but this organization has produced many great politicians and jurists. The Chief Minister said that there are many problems before the advocates. But without caring about them, they are playing an important role in getting justice to the people. The District Advocates Association has set an example in getting justice to everyone equally without discriminating on the basis of poverty and wealth. On the demand of the association, the Chief Minister also assured to appoint members in the Revenue Board and Permanent Lok Adalat soon. He also congratulated and wished them on the great festivals of Teej and Ganesh Chaturthi.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao said that the history of the District Advocates Association has been glorious. The legal experts and politicians who have come from here have increased the pride of Bilaspur. He said that in the last 10-12 years, facilities in the courts have developed rapidly. This trend will continue in the future as well. District Advocates Association President Shri Dauram Chandravanshi gave the welcome speech. On this occasion, Collector Avneesh Sharan, SP Rajnesh Singh, judges, advocates and eminent citizens of the city were present in large numbers.
