New Development Milestones Set by Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana: Minister of State K.K.Vishnoi.
Jaipur : The Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana has ushered in a new dimension of development, aiming to connect every individual in need with self-employment opportunities. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has initiated several steps for the welfare of the common man to achieve the vision of a developed India, said Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, Shri K.K. Vishnoi, during a program held at the Ramsar Panchayat Samiti Auditorium on the anniversary of the scheme on Friday. During the event, Prime Minister Modi addressed beneficiaries of the ITI courses virtually from Wardha, Maharashtra.
Minister Vishnoi emphasized that over the last decade, the country has experienced new growth and development. He noted that the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana has motivated the youth nationwide to pursue self-employment based on their skills. He further highlighted the upcoming Rajasthan Rising Summit, which is expected to generate local and international employment opportunities by attracting more investment. Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma is actively working towards this goal. The minister also praised several schemes introduced by the Prime Minister for the benefit of youth, women, the poor, and farmers, noting their positive impact.
He added that the public showed great enthusiasm for the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. While presenting the historic budget, the state government announced several development initiatives to support all segments of society. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi, during his address on the first anniversary of the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, commemorated the day in 1932 when Mahatma Gandhi launched a campaign against untouchability. The Prime Minister emphasized that the Vishwakarma Yojana strengthens the commitment to a developed India, reviving the ancient glory of India through modern initiatives.
Additional District Collector Rajendrasinh Chandawat stated that both the central and state governments are implementing multiple schemes to provide employment to the youth and deliver public welfare programs to the masses. He encouraged young entrepreneurs to take advantage of these government initiatives. Social worker Deepip Paliwal also commended the Prime Minister’s efforts in poverty eradication, which have improved living standards for the weaker sections of society. He emphasized that the benefits of these schemes should reach the neediest individuals.
Social activist Swaroop Singh Khara praised the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana for its revival of traditional practices, emphasizing the need for innovation in the current system. He urged the public to utilize the benefits of government schemes. Meanwhile, Joint Director Gauri Shankar noted that 68 people have received training at Ramsar ITI, with some undergoing advanced training.
Earlier, Minister Vishnoi was welcomed traditionally by girls upon his arrival at the venue. He later visited the exhibition and interacted with beneficiaries to learn about the impact of public welfare schemes. The event was attended by Sub-Divisional Officer Anil Kumar Jain, Principal Mrs. Vagtu Devi, District Information and Science Officer Dilip Jain, and other officials and beneficiaries. The program was moderated by Raghuveer Singh Tamlor.
Distribution of Certificates and Loans: During the program, Minister Vishnoi distributed certificates and loan cheques to beneficiaries who received training under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. He also planted saplings at Ramsar ITI.
