Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Kanya Puja during Navratri is a symbol of worship of Matrushakti. Besides, Navratri also establishes the importance of seasonal change in life. The concept of fasting in the Sanatan tradition and its benefits is also accepted by the modern medical system. Indian culture respects the importance of matriarchy. In our culture, Mata Saraswati is worshiped as the Goddess of knowledge, and Mata Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth. Indian culture gives importance to both food and spirit. It focuses on the idea of uniting the Selfwith the entire universe. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the huge Kanya Pujan program organized by Seva Bharti Mahavir Mandal, Bhopal at Govindpura Industrial Area. He inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed the Kanyas by showering flowers and performing pujan.
Navdurga is a festival of the accumulation of power
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indian culture gives the message of love and peace for all living beings.
