Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation Celebrates Diwali with Gifts for Employees

Jaipur : President of the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, Mrs. Shubhra Singh, presented Diwali gifts to Class IV employees, security personnel, mechanics, drivers, and conductors at the corporation’s headquarters on Tuesday. For the first time, approximately 10,000 employees across the state received gifts in celebration of Diwali. The initiative, held in the presence of Managing Director Mr. Purushottam Sharma and other officials, brought joy to the employees, who expressed gratitude for the gesture, remarking that the gifts and lamps would bring light to their homes this Diwali.

During the event, Mrs. Singh extended Diwali greetings to all and shared that this initiative aims to uplift the spirits of these employees, whom she considers part of the “Nigam family.” She emphasized that the corporation’s gesture would make this Diwali special for the employees and their families.

In collaboration with AU Small Finance Bank, Diwali gifts were distributed to approximately 2,000 Class IV employees, security staff, and mechanics throughout the region. Furthermore, an additional 8,000 drivers and operators across the depots were presented with Diwali gifts during a separate event at the headquarters. Supported by Equitas Small Finance Bank, the distribution brought visible happiness to all present, as many received Diwali gifts from the corporation for the first time.

Expressing gratitude to the partner banks, Mrs. Singh stated that this Diwali initiative brings light to nearly 10,000 families. The celebration was attended by Executive Director (Traffic) Mrs. Jyoti Chauhan, Executive Director (Administration) Mr. Chandamal Verma, along with senior officials and other corporation employees.
