Raipur: Youth Parliament develops leadership capabilities of youth: Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade

Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade today attended the district level Youth Parliament Competition program organized at Swami Atmanand School located in village Batra of Surajpur district as the chief guest. Addressing the youth on this occasion, she said that Youth Parliament develops the leadership capacity of the youth.
Through Youth Parliament, students get an opportunity to know and understand the functioning of the government. Today many leaders have reached a good position by learning politics through the Youth Parliament program. The purpose of Youth Parliament is to empower the youth and motivate them to actively participate in democracy, as well as encourage them to consider public issues and form their own opinion.

Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade also met the children of the school’s Scout Guide on this occasion and provided certificates to all the winners of the Youth Parliament program.
