We have declared the year 2025 as Atal Nirman Year in the memory of Atal Ji. This year, full focus is being given on quality development work. With the motto of Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas-Sabka Prayas and Sabka Vishwas, it is the responsibility of every citizen to constantly monitor the development and construction work of his area and contribute to making Chhattisgarh a developed state. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the inauguration-foundation stone laying program of development works worth Rs 141 crore organized in village Jugera of Balod district today.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government is committed to providing good governance to the last person by focusing on education, health, irrigation resources and maintenance of roads. What has been called Ram Rajya in ancient Indian texts is good governance. The sun of good governance has risen, all this has been possible due to your love and immense public support. We are confident that your trust will remain unwavering. All of us will together make developing Chhattisgarh a developed Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s dream is that no Indian will sleep under the open sky. Every citizen will have a permanent house. More than 31 thousand families have been benefited under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for construction of houses with permanent roof in Balod district. More than half of these houses have been built. The rest are being constructed. He congratulated and wished the beneficiaries who have moved into new houses.

Chief Minister Sai inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of various development works worth Rs 141 crore in a program organized in village Jugera of Balod district. On this occasion, he also announced the construction of a 400-seater auditorium in Balod and the construction of a dome set to expand the facilities of visitors at Banjari Mata Temple in Jugera. The Chief Minister said that Nalanda campus will be constructed in Balod soon, its approval has also been received. He praised Veena Sahu, a resident of village Jamruwa of Balod, who is serving as a Lieutenant Nursing Officer in the Indian Army, and wished her a bright future.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that there are a large number of tendu leaf beneficiaries in Balod district, in their interest we have increased the rate of tendu leaf purchase by an additional Rs 1500 per standard bag and ensured purchase at Rs 5500 per standard bag. We have performed Bhoomi Pujan for repair and reconstruction of the lining of the canals of Matiyamoti reservoir of Dondilohara development block. This canal, which will be constructed at a cost of about Rs 30 crore, will provide sufficient water for irrigation to the farmers.

The Chief Minister said that about 1.5 lakh farmers of Balod district have benefited from the Krishak Unnati Yojana. An amount of Rs 686 crore has been transferred to their account for the paddy sold in the Kharif season in 2023-24, which has brought prosperity to the farmers. Farmers have become prosperous. We believe that when our food providers are happy, everyone’s life will be happy. Last year, we have also given the amount of outstanding bonus of Rs 223 crore to the accounts of more than 1.5 lakh farmers in Balod district.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw said that there will be no shortage of money for development works in the government of Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, which is guaranteed by Modi ji. MP Shri Bhojraj Nag also addressed the program. A large number of dignitaries were present on this occasion.
