Firefighters from across the country arrive to safeguard Mahakumbh Mela
Mahakumbh Nagar : A seminar on ‘Fire Dafety and Prevention’ was organized at the Mahakumbh Mela meeting hall in Prayagraj, where Chief Fire Officer Mahakumbh Pramod Sharma and Chief Fire Officer Prayagraj Dr. Rajiv Pandey briefed the NFSC personnel deployed for duty during the grand event.
Additionally, 35 final-year students from the BE Fire program at the National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur, have arrived to serve during the Mahakumbh Mela. NFSC, the only institution under the Ministry of Home Affairs, trains fire officers selected from across the country, equipping them for roles in various companies and government institutions specializing in fire safety, firefighting, and disaster prevention both in India and abroad.
