Young artists spread the cultural charm of Chhattisgarh in Youth Festival

On the first day of the Chhattisgarh State Youth Festival being held at the Science College Ground in the capital Raipur, a play based on the struggle for the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, ‘Main Ayodhya Hoon’, was staged. This live performance captivated everyone. Along with this, a glimpse of India’s development journey in the last decade was presented through an attractive laser show. 

The musical drama presentation ‘Main Ayodhya Hoon’ organized on the first day of Chhattisgarh State Youth Festival 2024-25 made the audience aware of the historical, religious and cultural glory of the city of Ayodhya. The glorious saga of the construction of a grand temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram in Ayodhya and the consecration of the idol of Ramlala was brought alive in this program. Famous artist Pradeep Gupta and his team from Mumbai presented the drama. In this grand presentation, it was presented as a journey from Satyayug to Kaliyug.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and other guests enjoyed the programme. Musical dialogues, captivating dance and excellent acting mesmerized the audience.

The youth spread cultural diversity

The youth also spread the charm of Chhattisgarhi culture in Chhattisgarh State Youth Festival. Famous folk singer Ms. Aru Sahu presented melodious Chhattisgarhi folk songs. Apart from this, a colourful presentation of Gaura-Gauri, Raut Nacha, Panthi Geet Nritya was given in the program. The young artists gave an attractive presentation of Panthi dance based on the messages of Chhattisgarh’s famous saint Baba Guru Ghasi Das Ji. The audience appreciated Dadriya presented by Ms. Aru Sahu. In the Youth Festival, along with organizing story writing, painting, impromptu speech, poetry recitation for the youth, a science fair was also organized. In the Youth Festival, along with a development exhibition based on the achievements of the Chhattisgarh government, a quiz competition is also being organized for the youth. Apart from this, an exhibition of handicrafts, textiles and agricultural products has also been organized. 

Attractive laser show

The development works and public welfare schemes and programmes done in a decade under the leadership of Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and the public welfare schemes and achievements in one year of good governance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev in Chhattisgarh were showcased through laser show. 

second day attractions 

In the three-day long Chhattisgarh Youth Festival, tomorrow on the second day, i.e. 13 January, there will be a dialogue between the youth and ‘Super 30 fame’ Shri Anand Kumar. Also, there will be a performance by ‘Aisa Jadoo Hai Mere Bastar Mein’ fame Dayara Band.
