Special Allowance Granted to Teachers and Government Staff in Hill Areas

Tholampadi, Kadambur, and Bargur regions were previously designated as hilly areas. Accepting their appeal, Hon’ble Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thiru M.K. Stalin has approved the disbursement of hill and cold climate allowances to teachers and government employees serving in Tholampadi, Kadambur, and Bargur.

Expressing gratitude for fulfilling their request, representatives of teachers and government staff from these areas met the Chief Minister today (17.02.2025) at the Tamil Nadu Secretariat. The meeting included key officials such as State Treasurer Thiru A. Su. Arunmani, General Secretary Thiru T. Gurumurthy, Executive Secretary Thiru T. Joseph Pastor, Organizational Secretary Thiru S. Arun Kumar, State President Thiru N. Rajan, and State Press Coordinator Thiru K. Jaganraj. They conveyed their heartfelt thanks for ensuring the implementation of the allowance.
