Governor Gen (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd) Addresses the Budget Session of the Ninth Mizoram Legislative Assembly

Aizawl – The Fourth Session cum Budget Session of the Ninth Mizoram Legislative Assembly commenced today at the Legislative Assembly House in Aizawl. The session is scheduled to be held from 19th February 2025 to 20th March 2025.

In his address, Mizoram Governor Gen (Dr.) Vijay Kumar Singh, PVSM, AVSM, YSM (Retd) emphasized the significance of the Legislative Assembly’s Annual Budget Session, stating, “It is not merely an accounting exercise but a reflection of the government’s vision for the welfare of its citizens.” He expressed confidence that the discussions and deliberations during the session would contribute to the state’s progress.

Delivering his maiden address to the state assembly, the Governor highlighted various policies and programs being implemented by different departments of the State Government.
