Education Minister Announces Class 10 Board Results with Record 93.60% Pass Rate; Results Declared from Kota via VC for the First Time

Jaipur – Education and Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Madan Dilawar declared the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) Class 10 examination results today via video conference from Kota. This marks the first time the board results were announced from Kota through virtual means. Along with the Class 10 results, the results of the Secondary Vocational and Praveshika (Sanskrit) Exams 2025 were also released. This year’s overall pass percentage of 93.60% is the highest in the board’s history.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Dilawar attributed the record performance to a strengthened education system, discipline in schools, and ongoing innovations. He congratulated the high achievers and encouraged students who fell short to not lose heart, but to prepare diligently for improved results next year.

Providing detailed statistics, the minister stated that 10,94,186 students had registered for the Secondary and Secondary Vocational exams, out of which 10,71,460 students appeared. The overall pass percentage was 93.60%, with 93.16% boys and 94.08% girls passing the exams. Out of 5,75,554 boys, 2,69,141 passed with first division, while 2,77,229 girls out of 5,18,632 secured first division.

In the Praveshika Exam 2025, 7,316 students had registered, and 7,099 appeared. The overall pass rate was 83.67%, with 82.01% of boys and 85.03% of girls passing. Among them, 643 boys out of 3,310 and 974 girls out of 4,006 earned first division.

Highlighting reforms, Shri Dilawar emphasized that strict prohibition on mobile phone use during classes helped provide a focused learning environment, significantly contributing to the improved outcomes. He also introduced a policy requiring students to earn at least half of the internal marks allotted by their schools—non-compliance would hold teachers accountable.

He added that consistent departmental reviews and timely teacher promotions have boosted morale. Recently, the state government promoted 35,000 teachers after years of delay, and plans are underway to begin promotion procedures for an additional 21,000 positions.

Minister Dilawar congratulated the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, the Education Department, and all teachers for their dedicated efforts and excellent results.

During the announcement, RBSE Chairman Dr. Mahesh Chandra Sharma and other officials participated via video conference. Present in the VC room were ADM Krishna Shukla, Minister’s OSD Satish Gupta, CDEO Yogesh Pareek, DEO Secondary K.K. Sharma, and other senior education officials.
