Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade Inspects ‘Seva Bharatiya Matru Chhaya Shishu Griha’

Raipur : Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade conducted an inspection of the non-governmental organization Seva Bharatiya Matru Chhaya Shishu Griha (Special Adoption Agency) located in Bilaspur. During her visit, she warmly interacted with the children residing at the facility, inquired about their well-being, and reviewed the care and support being provided by the organization.
Spending time with the children, Minister Rajwade remarked, “The innocent smiles on these little faces are our greatest source of inspiration. These children are a collective responsibility, and the state government is fully committed to ensuring their safe, healthy, and bright future.”
She appreciated the institution’s efforts in areas such as child protection, nutrition, healthcare, education, and rehabilitation. Highlighting the importance of such establishments, she said that organizations working for adoptable children form the foundation of positive societal change.
Seva Bharatiya Matru Chhaya Shishu Griha is a recognized Special Adoption Agency that provides shelter, care, and a path to a new family for abandoned, orphaned, and destitute children through a secure and legal adoption process. The institution offers age-appropriate nutrition, education, and healthcare facilities for children.
Minister Rajwade directed the concerned officials to ensure regular technical and administrative support to such institutions so that children can enjoy a better quality of life. She also emphasized that the state government is continuously striving to make the adoption process more transparent, compassionate, and accessible.
Present during the inspection were district-level officials from the Women and Child Development Department, members of the Child Protection Unit, the organization’s director, and other dignitaries, all of whom briefed the minister on the institution’s functioning and current status.
