A check of INR 3 million to Srujan Trust to promote entrepreneurship! – Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha.
Mumbai, 9th: Under the leadership of Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, today, a grant of 3 million rupees was sanctioned to Srujan Trust on behalf of the Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Department.
Srujan Foundation organizes the Depex program. Through this program, students’ creativity finds a platform. It fosters innovation and creates new opportunities for employment. Events like Depex are organized on a large scale to encourage new initiatives and benefit students. In this context, financial assistance has been extended to Srujan Foundation. At this juncture, Nidhi Chaudhary, Commissioner of Maharashtra State Skill Development Society, and Digamber Dalvi, Director of Business Education and Training Directorate, were present.
Minister Lodha stated, “For a self-reliant India, youth must become self-reliant. They gain necessary confidence through programs like Depex. Today, platforms encouraging their inventions are available, and they face competitive challenges. This development enhances their skills, provides guidance, and sets them on a path forward. Ambitious youth, who guide their nation, are its wealth. Therefore, the government strives to prioritize their development. Various programs are organized under Srujan Foundation, benefiting students and easing access to new opportunities.”
In 2024, the Depex program celebrates 33 years of successful events. Each year, engineering, polytechnic, technology, agricultural science students showcase their inventions through this program. Additionally, their participation in competitions is noteworthy. This year, the involvement of government industrial institutions in the program was also significant. Fruits of the grant acceptance were witnessed by Srujan Trust members including Faladesai, Amit Dhomshe, Nidhi Gala, Girish Palde, and Prachi Singh.
