“Apni Fasal, Apni Girdawari” – Online Mobile Girdawari to Begin from August 1; Revenue Board Registrar Conducts Field Testing Among Farmers

Jaipur : In preparation for the launch of the statewide online crop inspection (girdawari) starting Friday, August 1, the Mobile Girdawari App underwent live field testing on Thursday. Revenue Board Registrar Shri Mahavir Prasad, along with Additional Registrar and Tehsildar of Ajmer, visited fields to test and inspect the online girdawari process firsthand.

Live Field Testing Conducted in Ajmer

The live testing was conducted on Thursday afternoon in Kaimpura village, located in the Boraj Girdawari Circle of Ajmer Tehsil, at the field of farmer Arjun Singh. In this demonstration, the online girdawari of Khasra No. 2828 was successfully completed at the patwari level.

Farmers Can Now Perform Girdawari Themselves

From August 1, farmers across Rajasthan will be able to conduct girdawari themselves through the mobile app, in addition to inspections conducted by patwaris. This initiative ensures that crop information is transparently recorded under the supervision of the farmer, with the added convenience of downloading Jamabandi (land records) directly from the app.

To support this, the Raj Kisan Girdawari App is available for download on several government platforms, including:

  • The Revenue Board website
  • Apna Khata portal
  • SSO ID portal

The Agriculture Department is actively promoting awareness among farmers, encouraging them to download the app and perform girdawari themselves.

Dialogue with Farmers

Registrar Shri Mahavir Prasad interacted directly with farmers during the testing process, explaining the app’s features and encouraging them to utilize the online girdawari service via the www.webgirdawari.rajasthan.gov.in portal or the Raj Kisan Girdawari mobile app. He emphasized that farmers can register and inspect their own fields (khasras) independently using their smartphones.

Instructions have been given to all revenue officers, down to the patwari level, to raise public awareness about online girdawari. Officers have been asked to inform farmers about both technical and practical benefits of the app. Government-appointed patwaris and surveyors will be responsible for official girdawari, but the option for self-reporting by farmers represents a significant innovation by the government.

Target for Kharif Season

The government has set a target to cover approximately 70 lakh khasras (plots) through farmer-conducted girdawari for the Kharif season.

Officials Present at the Event

Key officials present during the testing included:

  • Additional Registrar of Revenue Board: Shri Hemant Swaroop Mathur
  • Ajmer Tehsildar: Om Singh Lakhawat
  • Land Records Inspector: Sarita Indoria
  • Boraj Patwari: Shailendra Sharma

The technical testing of the mobile app was also conducted at various locations by Director of Statistics, Smt. Bina Verma, and Joint Director (IT), Saurabh Bamnia. Similar live tests were conducted by over 1100 patwaris across all 41 districts in the state.
