Parliamentary Affairs Minister Conducts Surprise Inspection of Salawas Sub-District Hospital
Regular Inspections of Medical Institutions Underway to Ensure Seamless and Adequate Healthcare Services: Shri Patel
On Thursday, Shri Jogaram Patel, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Law, and Legal Affairs, conducted a surprise inspection of the Salawas Sub-District Hospital to review the ongoing arrangements. Shri Patel stated that under the able leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state government is resolutely committed to providing quality healthcare services to every citizen of the state. He emphasized that regular surprise inspections of healthcare institutions are being carried out to ensure the uninterrupted and adequate availability of medical services in every region.
Inspection of Multiple Wards and Units
During the inspection, Shri Patel reviewed several key sections of the hospital, including the General OPD, Labour Room, Operation Theatre Complex, Injection and Dressing Room, ECG Room, NCD Clinic, Male and Female Wards, Dialysis Unit, Paediatric Ward, Maternity Ward, X-ray and Sonography Room, Vaccination Room, and the Registration Desk. He also examined the stock of medicines and the hospital’s registers to assess the operational efficiency.
Hospital Premises to Be Developed as Green Campus: Shri Patel
The Minister instructed the BCMO (Block Chief Medical Officer) to conduct more frequent surprise inspections across all medical institutions in the region. He also directed staff to ensure well-maintained registration counters, adequate essential materials, and availability of clean drinking water. As part of the “Mukhyamantri Vriksharopan Mahabhiyan – Hariyalo Rajasthan” (Chief Minister’s Tree Plantation Mega Campaign – Green Rajasthan), Shri Patel planted trees within the hospital campus and urged for its development as a green campus.
Staff Instructed to Maintain Punctuality and Cleanliness
Shri Patel directed that cleanliness campaigns be conducted throughout the hospital campus and its wards to ensure hygienic conditions. He instructed all personnel to be punctual and remain present during duty hours to provide optimal healthcare services to patients. Additionally, he ordered necessary arrangements for proper parking facilities within the hospital premises.
Interaction with Patients for Direct Feedback
The Minister also interacted with patients and their families during his ward visits to understand their experiences and gather feedback on the free medicines, diagnostic tests, and other facilities provided by the state government. He stressed that doctors and staff must take special care to ensure that patients face no inconvenience.
