Ashwini Vishnoi Brings Glory to Rajasthan by Winning Gold in Wrestling — CM Bhajanlal Sharma Felicitates Champion

Jiapur Aug 2025 : Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma met Bhilwara’s Ashwini Vishnoi, the gold medalist of the World Wrestling Championship, at his residence on Sunday. Shri Sharma felicitated Ashwini by draping a ceremonial stole over her and congratulated her on this remarkable achievement.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the state government is making every possible effort to identify and nurture sporting talents. Bhilwara’s daughter Ashwini has made Rajasthan proud on the global stage by winning a gold medal in wrestling. Shri Sharma also congratulated Ashwini’s father, Shri Mukesh Vishnoi, for his guidance and support in her journey to success.

It is noteworthy that Ashwini Vishnoi clinched the gold medal in the 65 kg weight category at the Under-17 World Wrestling Championship held in Athens. With this victory, Ashwini has become the first female wrestler from Rajasthan to win a gold medal at the World Wrestling Championship.
