Parishadiya school teachers pledge to transform UP into a ‘Nipun state’.

Lucknow : In line with the Yogi government’s ongoing pursuit to foster healthy educational environment in Uttar Pradesh and nurture skilled workers, the Parishadiya schools organized an array of events, on the occasion of the second day of ‘Shiksha Saptah’ on Tuesday.

The events included celebration of FNL Diwas in all Parishadiya schools. During the event, amidst various programs, teachers pledged to make ‘Uttar Pradesh a Nipun state.’ 

It is noteworthy that, under the instructions of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, ‘Shiksha Saptah’ is being observed in all Parishadiya schools of the Basic Education Department, Uttar Pradesh, from July 22 to 28/29, with various activities being organized daily.

On the second day of ‘Shiksha Saptah’, during the program held in all schools, teachers swore to make Uttar Pradesh and their schools proficient by helping students to acquire basic skills. 

They pledged to motivate their colleagues to achieve proficiency continually and committed to making their blocks and districts proficient. They also vowed to   transform proficient schools into proficient blocks and districts, and, eventually, a proficient state by dedicating their efforts fully. 

This initiative aims to shape children’s future in primary, upper primary, and Kasturba Gandhi Residential Schools by developing their logical abilities through daily activities focused on specific subjects.

The programmes organised on the second day of Shiksha Saptah are the following:

– Interactive sessions on innovative and joyful teaching methods were conducted for teachers.

– A seminar was held with parents.

– Interactive learning sessions were provided for children.

– Engaging activities and games were organized.

– Art and craft activities were arranged to foster children’s imagination and creativity.

– Parents and teachers were informed about integrating art and craft into the FLN curriculum.

– The significance of FLN was highlighted through videos, emphasizing raising public awareness.

– The ‘Nipun Shapath Grahan’ program was held.

– Sessions for reading books were conducted.

– Cultural activities related to basic literacy and numeracy take place.

– Language development through storytelling was emphasized.

– Children engage in toy-based and game-based learning activities.

– Puppet shows were organized.

– Lessons on organizing public awareness campaigns in the local community were shared.

– Emphasis was placed on involving local leaders and influential people in the programs.

– Anganwadi workers focused on ensuring the participation of mothers and children.

– Panel discussions with education experts, policymakers, and subject experts were held.

– Tips on analyzing future directions and innovations were received.
