“May Lord Ganesha inspire everyone to walk on the path of righteousness; may everyone’s wishes be fulfilled” – CM Devendra Fadnavis

Pune, Sept 2025 : The revered Ganesh idols of Pune represent a proud heritage of the state. The State Government has accorded Ganeshotsav the status of a state festival. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis prayed at the feet of Lord Ganesha, seeking blessings for happiness, peace, health, and prosperity for all. He prayed that everyone’s wishes be fulfilled, and that people be granted wisdom and inspired to walk the path of righteousness.

Chief Minister Fadnavis visited several public Ganesh Mandals in Pune, offered prayers, and performed aarti. He was felicitated by different mandals during these visits. The CM visited the revered mandals including Kasba Ganapati, Tambdi Jogeshwari Ganapati, Guruji Talim Mandal, Shree Tulshibaug Public Ganeshotsav Mandal, Lokmanya Tilak Ganeshotsav Mandal (Kesariwada), as well as Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Mandal, Sai Ganesh Mitra Mandal, and Sane Guruji Tarun Mandal. Prior to this, he also visited the residence of actor Nana Patekar at Donje, where he had Ganesh darshan. Patekar welcomed and felicitated the Chief Minister.

During the CM’s visits to Ganesh Mandals in Pune, Union Minister of State for Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol, MLA Hemant Rasane, Kasba Ganapati President Shrikant Shete, Tambdi Jogeshwari Ganapati Mandal President Prasad Kulkarni, Guruji Talim Mandal President Pravin Pardeshi, Shree Tulshibaug Public Ganeshotsav Mandal President Vikas Pawar, Lokmanya Tilak Ganeshotsav Mandal Festival Head Dr. Rohit Tilak, Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganapati Temple President Sunil Rasane, Sane Guruji Tarun Mandal President Dheeraj Ghate, along with trustees and office-bearers of various mandals were present.
