Jaipur, Sept 2025: Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma announced that the state government will organize Urban Service Camps across all urban areas of Rajasthan to ensure citizens have easy access to government schemes and services. The campaign will run from September 15 to October 15. The initiative aims to make cities clean and safe while providing prompt resolution of public grievances.

Shri Sharma chaired a meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday regarding the organization of the camps. He emphasized that the campaign should have a visible impact in every city and town, and all officers involved must work with seriousness and a spirit of public service.

Comprehensive Guidelines and Digital Portal

The Chief Minister directed the concerned departments to prepare a comprehensive guide for the campaign. A special portal is being developed by the Department of Information & Technology to facilitate access to services and track grievance redressal in real-time.

New lights will be installed on dark and isolated streets to ensure citizen safety.

The campaign will see joint participation of multiple departments, including Urban Development & Autonomous Governance, Social Justice & Empowerment, Public Health Engineering, Energy, Public Works, Revenue, Women & Child Development, and Medical & Health departments, ensuring quick redressal of citizen issues.

Ensuring Access to Welfare Schemes

Applicants for flagship schemes of various departments will be assisted and approved during the camps. Eligible citizens will be linked to Atal Pension Yojana, old-age, widow, and disability pension schemes. Additionally, repair and beautification of schools, anganwadis, and other public buildings will be undertaken.

Originally scheduled from September 15 to October 2, the campaign period has now been extended to October 15. The meeting was attended by State Minister for Urban Development & Autonomous Governance (Independent Charge) Shri Jhabar Singh Kharra and officials from the concerned departments.
