On Police Commemoration Day, Minister Laxmi Rajwade Pays Tribute to Martyred Police Personnel

Raipur, Oct 2025: On the occasion of Police Commemoration Day, Minister for Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade, paid solemn tribute to the martyred police personnel at the 10th Battalion premises located in Silfili village of Surajpur district.

Minister Rajwade offered floral tributes at the Amar Jawan Memorial, bowing in reverence to the brave martyrs. She said that the valour and dedication of the police personnel who sacrificed their lives in the service of the nation are a source of inspiration for all. “The police force has always played a leading role in ensuring the safety of citizens and maintaining law and order under all circumstances. Those who have made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty will forever remain alive in our hearts,” she said.

Minister Rajwade further added that the state government is continuously working for the welfare and honour of the families of the martyrs, reaffirming its commitment to supporting them.

The event was attended by MP Chintamani Maharaj, senior police officials, representatives of the district administration, family members of the martyrs, and a large number of citizens.

The ceremony concluded with a two-minute silence observed in memory of the brave police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
