Inauguration of Shri Sant Dnyaneshwar More Mauli Maharaj Samadhi Temple and Launch of Bhakt Niwas at Shegaon Dumala
Pandharpur, Nov 2025 : “Serving the Warkaris is true service to Lord Vitthal. During the Ashadhi and Kartiki Wari, the Warkari who arrives for darshan is our first VIP. The teachings of saints and the Warkari tradition are sources of energy and inspiration for society,” said Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the Samadhi Temple of Shri Sant Dnyaneshwar More Mauli Maharaj at Shegaon Dumala, which was conducted at his hands.
Also present were Employment Guarantee Scheme and Horticulture Minister Bharat Gogavale, Minister of State for Revenue Yogesh Kadam, former minister and MLA Tanaji Sawant, MLA Abhijit Patil, District Collector Kumar Aashirwad, Chief Executive Officer Kuldeep Jangam, Superintendent of Police Atul Kulkarni, institution head Dada Maharaj More Mauli, Swami Amrita Ashram Maharaj, Chakor Mahaswami Bawiskar, H.B.P. Akshay Bhosale Maharaj, Sarpanch Jayalakshmi Mane, and a large gathering of Warkaris.
The government has sanctioned ₹250 crore for the conservation and preservation of temples, and several welfare schemes such as the Ashadhi Dindi Grant and insurance schemes are being implemented. Maharashtra is the first state in the country to grant the cow the status of “Gomata.” This land is one of saints, warriors, farmers, and hardworking people, Shinde said, while appreciating the contributions of the Sant More family to the Warkari tradition.
Speaking on the occasion, Employment Guarantee Scheme Minister Bharat Gogavale said that the government stands firmly with farmers and Warkaris. “Our approach is to reach out swiftly to people in distress and extend all possible help.”
Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister Shinde inaugurated the Samadhi Temple of Shri Sant More Mauli Maharaj, while Bhakt Niwas No. 1 was inaugurated by Employment Guarantee Scheme Minister Bharat Gogavale.
