Vice President Honors 37 Eminent Personalities, 4 Institutions at Chhattisgarh Rajat Mahotsav 2025
Raipur, Nov 2025 : During the Chhattisgarh Silver Jubilee Festival-2025, Vice President Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan today honoured 37 eminent personalities and 4 institutions with 34 state decorations at the State Decoration Ceremony held in Nava Raipur. On this occasion, Governor Shri Ramen Deka presided over the ceremony. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai attended as the Special Guest of Honour, while Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, ministers, MPs, and MLAs were present as distinguished guests.
At the State Decoration Ceremony, Vice President Shri Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Shri Sai presented the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Award to Shri Hires Sinha of District Kanker. The Yati Yatnalal Award was presented to the Indian Leprosy Prevention Association, Katre Nagar Sothi, District Janjgir-Champa; the Gundadhur Award to Ms. Gyaneshwari Yadav of Rajnandgaon; the Minimata Award to Smt. Laleshwari Sahu of Durg; and the Guru Ghasidas Award jointly to Shri Bhuvandas Jangde of Bemetara and Shri Shashi Gaikwad of Balodabazar-Bhatapara. The Thakur Pyarelal Singh Award was given to the Primary Agriculture Credit Cooperative Society, Doma, District Dhamtari; the Habib Tanvir Award to Dr. Kunj Bihari Sharma of Raipur; and the Maharaja Pravirchand Bhanjdeo Award to Ms. Chandni Sahu of Bilaspur.
Similarly, the Pt. Ravishankar Shukla Award was presented to Shri Rajesh Agrawal of Raipur; the Pt. Sunderlal Sharma Award to Dr. Chintaranjan Kar of Raipur; the Chakradhar Award to Pt. Kirtimadhav Lal Vyas of Durg; and the Dau Mandaraji Award to Shri Rikhi Kshatriya of Durg. The Dr. Khoobchand Baghel Krishak Ratna Award was jointly presented to Shri Thanendra Kumar Sahu of Dhamtari and Shri Vaman Kumar Tikriha of Balodabazar. The Maharaja Agrasen Award went to Shri Rajendra Agrawal Raju of Bilaspur. The Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Journalism Award (Hindi Print Media) was given to Dr. Sandeep Kumar Tiwari of Raipur, while the Electronic Media Hindi Award was jointly given to Dr. Somesh Kumar Patel and Shri Abhishek Shukla of Raipur. The Madhukar Kher Memorial Journalism Award (English Print Media) went to Ms. Bhavna Pandey of Durg. The Danveer Bhamashah Award was given to Shri Neeraj Kumar Bajpai of Rajnandgaon; the Dhanvantari Award to Dr. Ajay Krishna Kulshreshtha; and the Smt. Bilasadevi Kewat Fisheries Development Award to Shri Sukhdev Das of Raipur.
Likewise, the Dr. Bhanwarsingh Porte Tribal Service Award was presented to the Jango Raytar Vidya Ketul Shikshan Sanstha, Village Damkasa, District Kanker. The Ramanuj Pratap Singhdeo Memorial Labour Excellence Award was jointly given to Shri Mithlesh Kumar Adil, the Agrasar Team of District Durg, and NTPC Ltd. Lara Super Thermal Power Project, Pusaur, District Raigarh. The Pt. Lakhanlal Mishra Award was presented to Shri Yogesh Kumar Sahu of Kanker; the Chhattisgarh Overseas Indian Award to Shri Manish Tiwari of Raipur; the Devdas Banjare Memorial Panthi Dance Award to Shri Rohit Kumar Kosariya of Mahasamund; the Kishor Sahu Award to Shri Sunil Soni of Raipur; the Laxman Masturia Award to Shri Rakesh Tiwari of Raipur; the Lala Jagdalpuri Literary Award to Dr. Vinod Kumar Verma of Bilaspur; and the Kishor Sahu National Decoration to Shri Anurag Basu of Mumbai.
The Barrister Thakur Chedilal Award was jointly presented to Shri Khemchand Jain of Rajnandgaon, Dr. Suresh Mani Tripathi, Dr. Bhupendra Karwande, and Shri Bharatlal Soni of Raipur. The Virangana Avantibai Lodhi Memorial Award went to Smt. Premsheela Baghel of Mahasamund; the Mata Bahadur Kalaarin Award to Smt. Shilpa Pandey Srishti of District Surguja; the Pt. Madhavrao Sapre National Creativity Award to Shri Awadhesh Kumar of New Delhi; and the Sanskrit Language Award to Dr. Dadu Bhai Tripathi of Raipur.
