New Nashik Zilla Parishad Building to Boost Administrative Efficiency – Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
Nashik, Nov 2025 : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the newly constructed administrative building of the Nashik Zilla Parishad located near ABB Circle on Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Road. Speaking at the event, he said that the new Zilla Parishad building — the largest and most beautiful in the state — will greatly enhance public service delivery and ensure efficient governance.
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan, School Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Adv. Manikrao Kokate, Food and Drug Administration Minister Narhari Zirwal, along with local representatives, former Zilla Parishad chairpersons, office bearers, Rural Development Department Secretary Eknath Davale, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Praveen Gedam, District Collector Ayush Prasad, and Zilla Parishad CEO Omkar Pawar were present on the occasion.
Fadnavis congratulated the district’s ministers, elected representatives, and officials for creating such an impressive and well-equipped structure, describing it as a model of modern administrative infrastructure. He said the building, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, would help improve services for the general public and contribute to transparent, responsive governance.
Following the inauguration, Chief Minister Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Shinde toured the premises. The event began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and unveiling of the foundation plaque. Zilla Parishad CEO Omkar Pawar welcomed the dignitaries and presented an overview of the project.

Key Features of the New Building:
The new administrative building of Nashik Zilla Parishad reflects a progressive and sustainable vision. It incorporates modern principles of design and functionality focused on energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and user convenience.
- Constructed with ample natural light, cross ventilation, and a solar power system to minimize electricity consumption.
- Equipped with rainwater harvesting facilities to promote water conservation.
- Includes study and research areas for officers and staff, as well as a dedicated rest room for women employees ensuring comfort and safety.
- Features a multi-purpose auditorium for meetings, training, and official programs, alongside a general assembly hall.
- Additional amenities include a recreation room, cafeteria, amphitheater courtyard, parking spaces, security systems, first-aid center, six conference halls, public utility centers, bank offices, divyang (disabled-friendly) facilities, record rooms, and a video conferencing room.
- The building has four lifts, five staircases, and 8-12 feet wide corridors on each floor for smooth movement and accessibility.
Chief Minister Fadnavis emphasized that such infrastructure projects will help make district-level governance more people-centric, efficient, and future-ready.
