State-Level Convergence Meeting on Nayi Chetna 4.0 Held in Jaipur
Jaipur, Dec 2025 : A State-Level Convergence Meeting was held today under the chairpersonship of Smt. Neha Giri, IAS, State Mission Director, Rajeevika, as part of the ongoing Nayi Chetna 4.0 – National Level Gender Campaign, being observed from 25 November to 23 December 2025. The Nayi Chetna 4.0 campaign, themed Women Leading the Way: Economic Empowerment for Inclusive Growth toward a Viksit Grameen Bharat, aims to address gender-based discrimination, strengthen women’s identity as economic contributors, and promote safe spaces and mobility for women and girls.
In her address, the State Mission Director emphasized advancing the self-defence component by reviewing its impact under Nayi Chetna 3.0, enhancing district-level planning, and ensuring close coordination with departmental nodal officers. She also focused on timely MIS updation and the need for district-focused awareness and capacity-building activities for women, adolescents, and community members.
Senior officials from various departments presented their convergence plans for the month-long campaign. The Police Department discussed strengthening safe mobility initiatives, convergence with Kalika Patrol Units, enhancing the role of Suraksha Sakhis, and disseminating the RajCop Help App, POCSO e-Box, and cyber safety resources. The State Mission Director further highlighted amplifying digital fraud awareness, including “digital arrest” sensitization and collaboration with banking institutions.
The Panchayati Raj Department proposed organizing district-level sammelans and workshops involving elected representatives, CLF women, stakeholders, and departmental teams to enhance local engagement. The Rural Development Department confirmed the involvement of MGNREGA Mahila METs as resource persons, while the Health and Family Welfare Department assured participation of ASHA and ANM workers, disability-certification support, and awareness on mental health messaging through Tele-MANAS. Education officials committed to sessions on Gender-Based Violence for adolescents, and the Legal Services Authority stressed the importance of legal literacy and access to legal-aid mechanisms. Departments of Women Empowerment, Social Justice & Empowerment, TAD, and Agriculture also outlined their planned contributions to strengthen scheme access, and tabled their respective plans for coordinated implementation.
Our stakeholder Sightsavers contributed recommendations based on their work in Pratapgarh and Dungarpur, including accessible social audits, disability-inclusive self-defence training, simplified POSH IEC, and running public-interest messaging during the campaign.
Orders were issued to all departments to instruct their district-level officials to take necessary action and ensure the successful execution of the campaign.
The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the Nayi Chetna pledge on Samanta, Suraksha, and Samman, committing all departments to coordinated statewide action for a safer, more inclusive, and gender-equitable rural Rajasthan, in alignment with the campaign vision presented in the Nayi Chetna 4.0 document.
