CM Dr. Yadav witnesses ‘Light & Sound’ show at Khajuraho western group of temples

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho, after reviewing various departmental works on Monday. He witnessed the ‘Light & Sound’ Show. The Chief Minister inaugurated the lift facility built at the temple complex to facilitate access to ‘divyang’ visitors.

Through the Light & Sound Show, the glorious history of the Chandela dynasty, the world-renowned Khajuraho temples, and the rich folk culture of Bundelkhand were presented in an engaging and impressive manner.

Appreciating the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that such initiatives play a vital role in preserving Bundelkhand’s art and culture while also promoting tourism.

Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Public Works Minister Shri Rakesh Singh, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Shri Lakhan Singh Patel, other ministers and public representatives were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav Visits Adivart Museum

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the Cultural Village and the State Tribal Folk Art Museum, ‘Adivart’, in Khajuraho. On this occasion, artist groups from Alirajpur and Dindori presented captivating traditional folk dances, ‘Bhagoria and Gudumbaja’.

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the newly constructed Gurukul for traditional arts at the Adivart Museum, Khajuraho. The museum showcases tribal folk arts and everyday traditional artefacts, highlighting the rich cultural heritage and traditions of tribal communities.
