Pravasi Rajasthani Divas 2025 in Jaipur to Showcase ₹1 Lakh Crore Projects and Honour Global Diaspora

Jaipur, December 2025 : Rajasthan is set to welcome its vibrant global diaspora for the highly anticipated ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Divas- 2025’, to be held in Jaipur on December 10. This flagship event aims to strengthen bonds with Rajasthani communities worldwide and celebrate their remarkable contributions to the state’s progress and cultural heritage.

Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, will deliver the keynote address, outlining his government’s vision for reconnecting the ties with the Pravasi Rajasthani Community, economic growth, global partnerships, and deeper cultural engagement. The event will be graced by the presence of Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, as well as the  Governors of Rajasthan and Punjab, Ministers and officials of Government of Rajasthan, along with an array of distinguished policymakers, industrialists, investors, cultural icons, and diaspora leaders.

The day’s programme will commence with the inauguration of ‘Pragati Path’—an immersive showcase of Rajasthan’s growth journey and future aspirations. Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore, Hon’ble Minister for Industries & Commerce, will deliver the welcome address, reaffirming the state’s commitment to leveraging the strengths of its global diaspora for inclusive development. Attendees will also experience a special film capturing the enduring emotional connection and shared legacy between Rajasthan and its overseas community.

A major highlight will be the groundbreaking of projects collectively valued at ₹1 lakh crore, taking the grand total to ₹8 lakh crore of the projects which have achieved groundbreaking in last one year (since Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024). This signals a new era of investment-led growth and innovation for the state.

The event will also see the unveiling of the Coffee Table Book “Commitment in Action”, which features the grounding of the MoUs signed under the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit’2024 which is a testament to progress, partnership and collective achievements.

Distinguished speakers, including Shri Piyush Goyal, Hon’ble Union Minister for Commerce and Industry; Shri Haribhau K.Bagade, Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan and Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, will share their perspectives on Rajasthan’s dynamic development and the pivotal role of the diaspora.

The inaugural session will also see the participation of top leadership of Indian industry including Shri Anil Agarwal, Chairman, Vedanta Group, Shri Ajay Piramal, Chairman, Piramal Group, and Shri Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD, Tata Power, who will share their views on Rajasthan, its transformation and business potential and key reforms being ushered in by the Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

The prestigious ‘Pravasi Rajasthani Samman’ awards will be presented to outstanding members of the global Rajasthani community who have brought honour and pride to their homeland.

The inaugural ceremony will conclude with closing remarks by Shri V. Srinivas, Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, followed by the National Anthem, marking the culmination of the inaugural session.

Another major highlight of Pravasi Rajasthani Divas is the afternoon open house with Non-Resident Rajasthanis (NRRs), designed to foster collaboration and explore investment opportunities for Rajasthan’s development.

In addition, seven theme-based sectoral sessions—covering new and renewable energy, tourism, education, industry, health, water, and mining—will bring together experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to address key challenges, technological advancements, and emerging opportunities. These sessions will underscore Rajasthan’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, inclusive growth and global competitiveness.

The event will conclude with a cultural program in the evening featuring traditional Rajasthani dances such as Ghoomar and Kalbelia, as well as a fusion performance by leading artists, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Rajasthan, marking the culmination of a truly momentous gathering.
