Minister Sanjay Bansode: Committed to Improving Rural Health Facilities

Latur : Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Sanjay Bansode emphasized the government’s commitment to providing quality healthcare to rural citizens. He stated that strengthening the health system in Jalkot and Udgir talukas is a top priority.

Minister Bansode made these remarks during the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the new primary health center building in Ghonsi, Jalkot taluka. The event was attended by District Health Officer Dr. H.V. Vadgave, Group Development Officer Narendra Medewar, District Planning Committee Member Shyam Dawle, Taluka Health Officer Sanjay Pawar, Dr. Prashant Kapse, Naib Tehsildar Rajaram Kharat, Sarpanch Yadavrao Kendra, along with a large number of public representatives, officials, and citizens.

Minister Bansode highlighted that funds have been allocated for primary health centers in Ghonsi and Mangrul to ensure timely medical treatment in rural areas. The Mangrul center is near completion, and today’s ceremony marks the beginning of the Ghonsi center.

He also noted that significant funds have been invested in building communication infrastructure, administrative buildings, community halls, and statues of great leaders in Udgir and Jalkot talukas. Most of these projects are either completed or nearing completion, providing essential facilities to the residents.

The state government, under the Chief Minister’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana, has decided to provide Rs. 1,500 per month to women. Additionally, through the Chief Minister’s Youth Work Training Scheme, youth will receive a stipend of Rs. 6,000 to 10,000 per month during their training, depending on their educational qualifications. Free electricity will also be provided to farmers for agricultural pumps up to 7.5 horsepower through the Chief Minister’s Baliraja Power Discount Scheme. Minister Bansode urged all eligible beneficiaries to take full advantage of these schemes.
