CM Dr. Yadav and Union Minister Shri Manohar Lal flag off Metro Train Service in Bhopal

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Shri Manohar Lal flagged off the Metro train service in Bhopal from Subhash Nagar Metro Station, inaugurating operations on the 7-kilometre stretch.

The first phase of the Bhopal Metro project has been formally launched with the commencement of regular Metro operations on this corridor. Metro rail facilities will be available across approximately 30 kilometres in Bhopal upon completion.

On the occasion, in the presence of public representatives, media personnel and citizens, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and the Union Minister flagged off the Metro train bound for AIIMS. Earlier, they received technical briefings on Metro operations from senior officials of the Metro Rail Corporation.
