Jaipur Witnesses Spectacular Display of Army Valor in 2026 Parade Rehearsal
Jaipur, January 2026: Under the visionary guidance of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the Army Day Parade–2026 is being held for the first time outside the army cantonment area in Jaipur, generating unprecedented enthusiasm among citizens. The second full-dress rehearsal on Sunday at Mahal Road, Jagatpura, drew large crowds who witnessed a vivid display of the Indian Army’s courage, discipline, valor, and modern warfare capabilities.

The event has emerged as a strong symbol of public participation, patriotism, and civil-military coordination, reflecting the CM’s vision. Officials from general administration, police, district administration, and related departments coordinated closely to ensure the rehearsal’s success.
Display of Modern Indigenous Military Technology
During the rehearsal, the army showcased missiles, tanks, and weapon systems developed with indigenous technology, aligning with the concept of a self-reliant India. Apache and Prachand helicopters, as well as various combat drones including diamond-shaped drones, thrilled spectators with dynamic aerial demonstrations. The army’s strategic strength across land, air, and water domains was effectively highlighted.
The rehearsal featured anti-tank guided missile Helina, multi-missile launchers, advanced tanks, and anti-air missile systems capable of firing 155 rounds and helicopter operations. Drones capable of flying up to 4,000 meters demonstrated India’s cutting-edge warfare technology.

Operation Sindoor & Special Forces
A centerpiece of the rehearsal was the Operation Sindoor tableau, which included BrahMos missiles and advanced robotic dogs equipped with high-resolution cameras. Anti-tank missile units demonstrated their ability to destroy enemy tanks. The Bhairav Battalion, formed in January 2026, showcased drone-based special operations, comprising over 100,000 trained drone operators equipped to handle hybrid and multi-domain challenges.
All-terrain vehicles displayed operational capability across water, desert, and rocky terrains, aiding both military operations and disaster relief. The modular bridge system demonstrated rapid route creation, impressing the audience.

Canine & Adventure Demonstrations
Indigenous dog breeds, including Mudhol Hound, Rampur Hound, Chippiparai, Kombai, and Rajapalayam, performed drills, with the Mudhol Hound drawing special attention for its agility and aggression. Soldiers also executed motorcycle pyramids, tire rides, and formations of national symbols such as the Ashoka Pillar and lotus, thrilling the crowd.
Public Engagement & Safety Measures
The state government and district administration ensured security, traffic management, parking, sanitation, drinking water, medical services, and accessibility for women and differently-abled spectators. Inter-departmental coordination has made the event smooth, safe, and orderly.
The Army Day Parade–2026 not only celebrates the bravery and skill of the Indian Army but also exemplifies good governance, administrative coordination, and sensitive administration, giving Jaipur a national-level recognition as a host of a historic and unprecedented public military event.
