CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s Gram Utthan Camps Empower Villagers, Resolve 77 Lakh Cases, Expand Access to Government Schemes

Jaipur, February 2026: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, an innovative initiative of Gram Utthan Camps has been launched to ensure rural citizens have direct access to government welfare schemes. Since their inception on 23 January (Basant Panchami) across all jurisdictional circles of the state, these camps have resolved over 77 lakh public grievances on the spot. Farmers, livestock owners, women, and workers are benefiting from multiple schemes under one roof, reducing administrative gaps and advancing the goal of a self-reliant and empowered rural Rajasthan.

Participation and Services:
So far, 1,512 camps have been organized statewide, with over 13.91 lakh people participating, including 9.17 lakh men and 4.12 lakh women. Approximately 13 government departments are providing services at each camp, enabling villagers to avoid repeated visits to offices.

Farmer and Livestock Support:
The camps have distributed 98,299 Soil Health Cards and 55,886 ownership cards to farmers. Under the Mangala Pashu Scheme, 92,000 livestock owners were registered, 5.11 lakh animals received primary treatment, and 77,000 animals were vaccinated. Villagers are also being made aware of cooperatives, agricultural marketing, horticulture schemes, farmer credit cards, self-help group loans, custom hiring centers, and other government programs. Under the Chief Minister Krishak Sathi Assistance Scheme, 2,923 applications have been processed.

Registrations under Central Schemes:

  • PM Surya Ghar Scheme: 28,908 registrations
  • Farmer Registry: 14,430 registrations

Other services include verification and application processing for farm ponds, fencing, pipelines, dairy cooperative registration, canal repairs, water conservation awareness under the Vande Ganga campaign, distribution of mini-kits, PM Matsya Sampada Scheme, youth self-employment schemes, drip irrigation, sprinkler systems, and plastic mulch. Departments such as agriculture, rural development, water resources, industry, energy, and revenue are actively participating.

Camp Schedule:
Camps operate from 10 AM to 5 PM at each jurisdictional circle. The first phase was conducted from 25 to 31 January, the second phase on 1 February, and the next phase is scheduled from 5 to 9 February, ensuring villagers can directly submit applications, register, and get their grievances resolved on-site.

Impact:
These camps, guided by the CM’s directive, symbolize the state government’s philosophy of “Jan Seva Hi Sarvopari” (Public Service is Supreme). Chief Minister Sharma has urged farmers and livestock owners to participate actively to maximize the benefits of government welfare programs.
